Framing Stories with The Little Lens

In the bustling city of Mumbai, where stories unfold at every corner, Brandon Pinto—better known by his artistic moniker The Little Lens—is quietly capturing moments that speak volumes. A self-taught photographer with a background in Mass Media Communication and a master’s in Entertainment Media and Advertising, Brandon has crafted a signature style that blends mood, emotion, and a dreamlike aesthetic into each of his frames.
From the Wild to the Runway
Brandon’s photographic journey began six years ago, rooted in his love for wildlife and nature. But as his lens evolved, so did his focus. Today, fashion photography has become his playground—where texture, tone, and light converge to bring his creative visions to life. His signature? Moody, raw, and dreamy portraits that reflect the soul of his subjects.
A Journey of Self-Made Skill
Without any formal training, Brandon carved his own path through consistent learning, trial-and-error, and an unwavering curiosity. “I used to capture my friends and practice endlessly,” he shares. “That helped me build not just my portfolio, but my confidence and network too.”
While he draws inspiration from international fashion photographers, his greatest mentor is himself. "I constantly look at my past work, correct my mistakes, and grow," he says. It's this introspective approach that fuels his continuous evolution as an artist.
Breaking Through the Noise
One of Brandon’s proudest achievements has been breaking into concert photography—capturing the electric energy of artists like Ed Sheeran, Adam Levine, and Coldplay live in Mumbai. “It was a dream. Something I’d always wanted to do,” he says. The challenge and excitement of live event photography added another layer of versatility to his already rich portfolio.
Beyond concerts, Brandon has worked with corporate brands, fashion houses, and consulates, consistently proving his ability to adapt and deliver high-quality results across genres.
A Versatile Vision
What sets The Little Lens apart is his commitment to versatility—not just in subject matter, but in tone, color, and emotion. He aims to start weaving more storytelling into his photography, hoping to create deeper connections with his audience. “I want my work to show that I can adapt to any condition and still create magic,” he says.
Driven by Passion, Fueled by Music
Music and films are a huge source of creative energy for Brandon. Whether it's a haunting melody or a cinematic scene, they often influence the mood and direction of his photoshoots. YouTube creators also play a motivational role, reminding him to keep learning, keep shooting, and never stop evolving.
What’s Next?
Currently, Brandon is working with emerging celebrities from television and magazine shoots, but he doesn’t focus too much on long-term goals. “I like to live in the present,” he says. “The future is a surprise—and I want to enjoy every step of the journey.” His main mission for now? To inspire and educate fellow photographers through his work and experiences.
A Message to Aspiring Artists
Brandon’s advice to up-and-coming creatives is simple but powerful:
“Never give up. Learn the roots of photography. Don’t overthink—just do it. Follow your passion.”
In an era of fast content and fleeting attention, The Little Lens reminds us that true artistry comes from staying grounded in your craft, being open to change, and letting your passion lead the way.
